47 years ago today, Congress signed into law the Highway Beautification Act of 1965, also known as “Lady Bird’s Bill” because of Lady Bird Johnson’s keen interest and active support of its passage. We are very pleased to announce today that  this and other of the First Lady’s achievements will be celebrated with the release of the gorgeous Lady Bird Johnson Forever stamps sheet on November 30.
